Pastel Innovations

Learn innovative ways of using Pan Pastels with stick pastels and mixed media. Dawn will demonstrate most of the techniques presented in her book, Pastel Innovations (2017), and share recent approaches she’s developed since the book was published. Short and plentiful demonstrations, followed by exploration and sharing create an atmosphere of playfulness and creativity for all levels. The focus of the workshop is to expand each person’s unique visual language of story telling by learning new ways to add and subtract marks from the surface.
