Oil: Advanced Beginner

Discover more of  your artistic voice and refine technical skill by building on your foundational knowledge of oil painting. Paula will go more in-depth on color theory, putting a special emphasis on value and temperature. We will look at compositions that work well and techniques that help to create interest and flow, incorporating these into painting exercises. While Paula can help provide guidance, subject matter is open to student choice. Prerequisite: students must either have taken Beginning Oil with Paula, or have foundational oil painting experience.
