VIRTUAL CLASS: Introduction to Botanical Drawing

Botanical drawing is a valuable way to grow your drawing practice, learn to see with a more focused eye, and use drawing as a way to explore and learn about the world around us. During this virtual workshop we will practice observational drawing skills through close examination and drawing of a variety of specimens right around your own home. Students will create studies varying from timed observational contour drawings to fully formed experimentations. In addition to observational drawing techniques, Shannon will teach a variety of experimental drawing and wet media techniques.
